2021 Coffeeneuring Challenge: Ride 1
October 26, 2021
If you ride a bike and like to drink warm beverages, there’s a fall challenge called the Coffeeneuring Challenge where you ride your bike to get coffee (or other beverages) 7 times different during October to November. It’s a fun way to get outside and on your bike and it’s something I’ve wanted to complete for a couple of years now.
Last year, I had tried to complete the Coffeeneuring Challenge and only completed 3 rides before I went on vacation in California for two weeks. Since I’ve been in Laramie, WY for almost a month, I decided it’s a good excuse to get on my bike and explore my new town.
My first trip for this challenge was to Coal Creek Coffee in downtown Laramie. The great thing about Laramie is that it’s super bike friendly and there is a ton of bike parking. I ordered a 16oz latte and breakfast bagel. The latte art was on point. I worked from the coffee shop for about two hours and even took some Zoom calls. All in all, it was nice to get out of my house, ride my bike, and work somewhere different for the day.
If you’re reading this and you decide to do the challenge too, send me a message!
